Go into all the world and spread my LOVE!

Glennys Hyland   -

I had a dream a couple of months ago. In my dream, I came out of my house and looked up to see the heavens. There was a big separation between heaven and earth, but somehow, I could see it. When I looked up, I saw a window. I got excited because that window was open. I kept looking and saw this big arm coming out of the window. It slowly and graciously extended to give me something.

I grabbed it with anticipation and in awe of what was happening. I almost fell because what He gave me was so big and heavy. I grabbed it with my two arms and used my whole body to carry it. He said, “Now, go into all the world and spread my love.”

What He gave me was his heart! I woke up and realized one thing. He carried his heart in one hand to give it to me, because his heart was as big as His arm and hand. It was no trouble for Him to carry it and the window was big enough for Him to take His hand out, but for me it was huge. It was at that moment that I realized that I am like a dry leaf in the hand of my heavenly Father. Above all, His LOVE for me is enormous and beyond description!

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

1 Peter 4:8 (ESV)

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

1 John 4:8 (ESV)

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful, it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13:4-13  (ESV)

I believe God is calling us, the church, to walk in His love. We can not give what we don’t have. How can we go into all the world and spread His love, or to love one another as brothers and sisters, if we don’t have it in our own hearts?

After I had this dream, I was convicted in my own heart. I did what he wants all of us to do. I brought my heart to God. I asked him to replace it. “Give me your heart and take out mine.”

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

Psalm 51:10

If is there any PRIDE in our heart – pull it out

When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.

Proverbs 11:2

If there is JEALOUSY – pull it out

Wisdom from Above

Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

James 3:13-18

If there is ANGER – pull it out

Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.

Psalm 37:8

If we consider ourselves better than others, help us God

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.

Philippians 2:3

Father, help us to give each other, what you already gave us- Your GRACE!

Gifts of Grace

For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.

Romans 12:3

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.

Ephesians 2:8

But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

James 4:6

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 12:9

In my own words: GRACE is giving people a break!

God has opened the windows of heaven, and poured out His LOVE on us, His children, through His own son JESUS – who is the real meaning of love. He gave us His heart, so we can by that same grace, give it to one another, and spread it around the whole world.

I encourage all of us today to examine our hearts.

As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects the man.

Proverbs 27:19

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

Proverbs 4:23

The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Luke 6:45

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:21

It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.”

But Peter said to him, “Explain the parable to us.” And he said, “Are you also still without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled? But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person.

Matthew 15:11, 15-18

Protect your heart. Put on the whole armor of God. Bring it to God as a pleasing aroma to His presence. When David came to God in repentance for the sin he committed with Bathsheba, God said to him, “You should come to me, so I could change the desires of your heart.”

We need to exchange our heart for God’s each day. His LOVE not only changes and transforms us, but impacts those around us, because it’s so contagious that it spreads itself through our way of living.
