Sheep Pen!

Lifting up the Church of Christ in prayer!

“Sheep-pen” I woke up one day (recently) with this word in my mind, and I began to not only read in the scriptures about it, but to think of how the wolf goes around trying to get in. I also thought that there are sometimes that the wolf is inside trying to divide. Other times, after the wolf did his thing inside, he goes out and tries to divide, steal, and destroy from the outside.

(I hope you get what I’m trying to say here)

After having all of these thoughts, I went to read my daily devotional, and it blew me away. Below is a picture (AMAZING), please read it.

Maybe God wants to alarm us, the Church, of something.

John 10:1
“Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.

John 10:12
The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

                                                                                     ENCOURAGEMENT

I strongly want to encourage the Church of Christ, as I have been encouraged by the Lord in prayer, to put on the full armor of God, so that we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:10-18

PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD. Keep it on at all times. We are in a constant spiritual warfare with the enemy of our soul.
