About the Book
About the Book

Glennys, reflecting on her past abortion, initially believed that silence would allow her to move on. However, years of unresolved emotions led her to seek not just forgiveness, which she found through her faith, but true healing and closure. By acknowledging her aborted child as a daughter named Esmeralda, Glennys embarked on a journey of redemption. In her book, she guides other women, who similarly conceal their experiences, through a step-by-step process towards personal closure. She emphasizes that God’s grace, forgiveness, and healing are readily available to those grappling with the emotional aftermath of abortion.

If a woman can not talk about it, she is not free!

I was willing to put my own life at risk to end this pregnancy rather than face my reality. I didn’t care about the life inside me. I refused to think of my unborn baby as a child—because if I did, it would make what I was doing even harder. I knew deep in my heart that abortion is more than just getting rid of a "problem." But as long as it remained a secret, I convinced myself it was okay. After all, my life was all about me and my desires.
On the surface, life seemed to return to normal, but my heart told a different story. The abortion became a painful secret, bringing shame and sorrow. I couldn’t talk about it. I buried it deep, alongside all the other roots of bitterness already growing in my heart. I hid it from every eye—except God’s. He delivered me in a supernatural way from this unseen pain.
